March 30th @ The Interurban Art Gallery (1 East Hastings)
Vancouver art and music lovers are joining together at the Interurban Art Gallery for a chill evening of visual and aural entertainment. The Interurban Gallery is a multi purpose gallery/venue in what was a train station at Vancouver’s oldest address. They’ll be showcasing the work of artist of Dan Williams and will be featuring local musical talent The Shilohs, Hallow Moon and The High Drops.
More after the jump
The Shilohs have in short order positioned themselves as a quintessential band’s band. These four guys have the songwriting talent, chops and the oddball cool to make any gig memorable.
Hallow moon is back after a brief winter hiatus with new drummer Colin Jones formerly of Red Cedar. This Vancouver based quartet is known for its dreamy stoner pop. They are currently working on an EP that they will release independently in the summer of 2012.
The High Drops
The High Drops are a rocking socking quartet riding bikes through Vancouver’s green ways while developing continual experimental rock and roll sets. They are all friends and have nearly all lived together at Alexi and Jen’s place on 12th avenue.
