Folk Oasis Episode January 22, 2014

Broadcast on 22-Jan-2014

8:00pm - 10:00pm

Interview with Lindsay May
phone interview with Lindsay May: 15 min.
Greetings from the beautiful foggy-and-then-sunny West Coast! Tonight I was happy to feature a locally produced answer to those Starbucks compilations: East Van Special Blend. 18 eclectic tracks including, of course, some folksy-rootsy stuff. I forgot to mention on air that a CD release party will be held Jan. 30 at Chapel Arts.
At 8:30 I did a phone interview with Lindsay May, who did a live session on this show in late 2012. Nice to catch up with her and chat about her new CD. That release party will be Jan. 25 at the Rogue Folk Club.
Happy birthday to my mom Jan. 23! Although I doubt she'll ever figure out podcasts to hear the song I sent out, I love her all the same.

Enjoy the rest of your week and thanks, as always, for listening!
