The Gender Empowerment Collective’s goals are to:
Center the voices, issues, concerns, and experiences of women, transgender, intersex, Two-Spirit, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and gender fluid folks and allies

Understand gender as a social construct informing our lived realities and be active in challenging and revising a conception of gender as a binary and use that understanding to favour a configurational and non-linear understanding of the overlapping varieties of roles and identities

Ensure the continued commitment to intersectionality and diversity within our content by featuring in our content, interviews, and membership a diverse range of racial, ethnic, gender, sexual, class, and ability-related identities
