Thrive is a week-long series of events running from 4th-8th November focused on building positive mental health for UBC students, faculty, and staff. Whether you attend a Thrive event, change your daily routine, or reach out for help if you’re facing difficulties, trying something new can help you feel good, and achieve your goals!

Putting Stress Into Words: An Expressive Writing Workshop 
Join Speak Easy UBC, Connectivity and The Writing centre to learn free-writing techniques to improve psychological and physical health!

MHAC & Kaleidoscope Movie Night: Perks of Being a Wallflower
The Mental Health Awareness Club and Kaleidoscope are partnering for this year’s Thrive Movie night & discussion. There will be a screening of “Perks of Being a Wallflower” followed by a group discussion on portrayals of mental health and mental illness in the movie and how that may relate to life as a University students.
