The Arts Report – September 5th – $20,000, Tree Art, Tap and an Occult Detective

Author

This week on the Arts Report, we look at one heck of a variety of stories. HECK. I said it.

Shirley Gnome, winner of Patrick Mahlia’s The People’s Championship of Comedy, will be joining us live in studio.  She wears a wig,  sings naughty “country” songs and has $20,000.

Eric Rhys Miller fills us in on Out of a Limb, an outdoor digital storytelling event produced by The Only Animal. They are also mentoring onsite productions at the Vancouver Fringe Fest for a second year.

Spectral Theatre put on their July Late Night Double Feature and the Arts Report was there for every occult radio detective, bloody angel moment; and Arts Report contributor Emma Hendrix fills us in on the Vancouver International Tap Festival!

Plus, stay tuned after the show (at 6pm) for the last two episodes of the This Fringey Life: Perception and Life on the Fringe.
