This album marked Sonny's first recording date after kicking drugs and taking his first sabbatical from the Jazz scene. It stands as one of Rollins' finest outings. Mr. Rollins is in stellar company with Ray Bryant on piano, George Morrow on bass and the great Max Roach on drums. "Worktime" is one of Sonny's masterpieces.
