VENETTA (aka BETHLEHEM) is a DJ, producer, and multidisciplinary artist exploring sound, performance, and photographer. Her open-format approach to mixing sets has taken her to venues like Berghain’s Panorama Bar, De School, Schinkel Pavillon, and Hamburger Bahnhof, as well as festivals like Flow in Helsinki. Drawing from a far-reaching library of genres, Venetta takes on a gutsy, yet provocative approach with her selection, blending anything from techno and electro to global club and rap, all with the aim of shocking the dancefloor with an unrelenting sonic blitzkrieg. Her style is climactic, often rife with dissociative sensations— a nod to her fascination with psychological thrillers and the way their soundtracks oscillate between high and low pitches, frequently changing tempos to heighten their dramatic edge. She has collaborated with leading experimental music platforms like PAN and brands such as Anonymous Club by Shayne Oliver and Diesel and performed alongside artists including Jamie xx, Yves Tumor, James Ferraro, Mica Levi, Ecco2k, and Boys Noize. She is currently working on her debut album, which explores the intersection of live performance and experimental sound
