Zoé Protat daughter and granddaughter of filmmakers, film buff from afar too tender age, Zoé is a critic for the Ciné-Bulles review as well as director of programming for the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma. She has also created her own blog, Kino Pravda (www.kinopravda.ca). She likes the cinemas of the East, the great romantic impulses, the revolutions, the "hysterical" Dostoevskian intensity, the geometric formalism, and the Gothic rock.
