Good evening everyone - Whoa, have quite the show tonight. It sparkles with energy, wisdom, ridiculous beats, and incredible vocals. We begin with a nice juxtaposition to the closer from last week's episode from St. Vincent, who is able to bring pure fire whether on a slow ballad or a indie rock gem, this track is followed by a stirring interlude from Stevie Wonder (c/o Janelle Monae's wonderful 2018 record), one of my favourite power ballads of the 2010s by Wild Beasts, and cosmic triumphs from Shabazz Palaces and OutKast; the next section goes from wicked acoustics to synth explorations and there are great tracks from Father John Misty (off of his great new streamlined record 'God's Favourite Customer'), Gorillaz, These Guy - watch out for the EP coming later this year and check out the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7rZrga8Y_I , Mikenite, and Titelaine; we close with some some cool words on the state of rock & roll and some of my favourite 2010s electro-R&B c/o Partner, Daft Punk, Junior Boys, and the bonus gem, respectively - Please enjoy~~
