Hello everyone - Hope this mix cassette finds you well. I was quite inspired this time around to produce a layered and exhilarating mix - 8.8 - I hope I succeeded. We have tracks that span genres, worlds, decades, and sounds, beginning with the only uptempo cut from what seems to be my favourite record since 2010 - Goldfrapp's 'Tales Of Us', which blends nicely into Pulp strutting their stuff circa '94, SZA showcasing stellar talent with 'Go Gina', and Nas and Kanye reminiscing (and gearing up for a new collabo album); next we get into some electro, soul, and jazz fusion with Freak Heat Waves, a wonderful ballad from Rostam feat. Kelly Zutrau, and bonafide classics from William Devaughn and Herbie Hancock, respectively; we close on a high note with Mac Demarco burning the midnight oil, The Flaming Lips exploring the soul, Esthero flying through the cosmos, and Electric Youth looking forward to what is next - Please enjoy~~
