With summer in full heat, this episode acts as a reprieve of sorts from current events to include a good portion devoted to surf music! We'll profile The Sandal's score to the seminal 1966 film The Endless Summer, feature some Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet live tracks and covers and other reverb-heavy waveridin' tunes. The first half of the show feels more like the drive out of the city towards the beach as we pay tribute to Emmit Rhodes and Malik B from The Roots along with our continued 2020 Polaris Prize preview.
