The Powder Blues Band was formed in 1978 in Vancouver. In 1979 the first album 'Uncut' was released. It went on to sell 200,000 copies - double platinum in Canada. This started an incredable run of popular and critically acclaimed albums, and touring in North America, Europe and even Russia. The Powder Blues still tour regularly. On Sunday, May 15th they appear in their home town for the first time in years, at the Rio Theatre.
