Have you taken an Aboriginal studies course at UBC?

  • Have you had a positive experience?
  • Do you want to be a part of a podcast project?

If You Answered Yes to All Questions, a Student Researcher Wants to Hear From You!

Chris Cardinal (Cree) is a fourth year student majoring in First Nations and Indigenous Studies at UBC. He is currently seeking 1 Aboriginal student, and 2 non-Aboriginal students who have taken at least one Aboriginal studies class in FNIS, social work, education, medicine, forestry, anthropology, or law programs at UBC. Those who have had a positive experience or whose views have changed are strongly encouraged to inquire about the podcast project. His focus is to address how Aboriginal people in Canada are viewed and understood by non-Aboriginal people as a direct result of formal post secondary education. A three part series of 30-minute podcasts in partnership with UBC’s CiTR radio station will be produced to explore this topic.
