The UBC December 6th Memorial will hold a series of events and initiatives for National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

Join us at the following campus events:

DECEMBER 6TH VIGIL
Thursday December 6, 10:00 am–3:00 pm
SUB, beside the Art Gallery
Stop by our table and light a candle to remember the events of December 6, 1989 and acknowledge the impact that gender-based violence has on all of us.

FILM SCREENING AND CRITIQUE
Thursday December 6, 6:00–8:00 pm
SUB, The Norm Movie Theatre
Join us for the screening of two short films and a discussion on how the December 6th events have been framed in the media.
