You may have seen her music video, “Aerobics on Motion” playing on MuchMusic. Maylee is one of newest and most eccentric artists out there and we catch her today on the Arts Report as she’s traveling towards Vancouver for three shows this weekend, including the Pitt Pub at UBC.

Have you ever wanted to party in the Vancouver Art Gallery? This Friday you can do just that, with the gallery featuring a plethora of artists and a dance party at the same time. Featured artists include Heidi Naagtegaal, Out Innerspace Dance, and filmmaker Alex Mackenzie.

Asian Film Festival
With VIFF long gone, are you craving more film festival action? This weekend the Asian Film Festival is rolling into town! Half-Japanese filmmaker and UBC grad Jeff Chiba Stearns talks about his animated documentary One Big Hapa Familyexploring why everyone in his family after his grandparents generation married inter-racially.

From Nov. 4th – 7th, there will be films showing at Tinseltown and SFU/Praxis Theatre! The opening night is already sold out, so to find out more or get tickets click here!
