Ran Ortner is a Brooklyn-based artist and ArtPrize winner who is known for his remarkable paintings of the ocean. His work has been commissioned by the Dutch government for the United Nations World Water Day and his painting Element No. 1 is permanently displayed in the lobby of 7 World Trade Centre.
