In this episode we replay our interview with Jessy To from our 24 Hours of Student Power special and talk to Emily Ladau.

Jessie To works for the Vancouver School Board in the Special Education Technology BC (SET BC) Branch. She works with children with complex communication needs and those that are non-verbal in kindergarten to grade 12. Jessie works one-on-one with children, helping restructuring their curriculum with their teachers to accommodate their learning needs with the help of a variety of technologies.

Emily Ladau is a writer, a blogger and disability rights advocate from Long Island, New York. She has written for The New York Times, The Huffington Post and Vice. Aside from writing in her blog “Words I Wheel By,” Emily is the the Editor and Chief for Rooted in Rights. She also is one of the hosts for a Podcast called: Accessible Stall.
