In this summer special, Mario hosts Unceded Airwaves playing two prerecorded segments along with some favourite Indigenous songs New and Old. In the first segment Mario is out on the land for an interview with June and Steven organizers of VIMAF 2017 followed by two songs. The second segment is a radio documentary called "A Fireside Chat with Julian Napoleon" of the Working Group for Indigenous Food Sovereignty. "A Fireside Chat with Julian Napoleon" was produced for a radio documentary series called CITR Docs season 2, with its focus on community. The episode sends off with hot tracks by Jim Pepper and a favourite with the collective JB the First Lady.
