The 14th annual NCRA Homelessness Marathon was broadcast live across Canada from Feb. 23rd 2pm PST to Feb. 24th at 4am PST. CiTR was live from the offices of Megaphone Magazine in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. http://www.megaphonemagazine.com/
From 9:00pm to 10:30pm, we spoke with current and former vendors of Megaphone. Kris Cronk and Peter Thompson shared their stories of living with homelessness, and surviving trying times. They talked about what Megaphone has done for them, and how they overcame other struggles to work towards a better life. We spoke with Sean Condon, the Executive Director of Megaphone about what the magazine is all about.

Shana, Katrina, Victoria, and a women who wished to remain anonymous were interviewed by CiTR's Madeline Taylor about their lives surviving homelessness and near homelessness.
