Guidelines

NEWS 101 is always looking for appropriate news content. If you are sending us a press release or an interview opportunity, please consider a few guidelines:

1. We cover local, provincial, national or international current events.
2. We do not promote events, but will interview spokespeople who promote events relevant to our audience.
3. We do not cover violent crimes, nor business releases promoting new products.

Volunteering

Motivated? Keen interest in the world around you? NEWS 101 welcomes volunteers to assist in the production and airing of NEWS 101 and other spoken broadcasts in upcoming seasons. You need not be a UBC student–all necessary training is provided!
