CiTR is proud to support Illuminares! Described as “the most magical summer event” and “one of Vancouver’s favourite summer traditions,” Illuminares is once again at Trout Lake Park this year on Saturday July 25th.
Bring your lantern and participate in a whimsical celebration of summer and community. Join the procession of glowing hand-made lanterns, led by lively percussion bands as we circle the lake. The evening will end with a small, family-sized fireworks display. Performances begin at 6pm, Procession at 9pm (gather at the four corners of the lake).
Family Fireworks at 10:15pm.
Illuminares is preceded by two weeks of lantern-making workshops, held at Trout Lake
Community Centre. Check out the workshop dates and times at www.publicdreams.org
