On March 8, CiTR presents 24 hours of special programming to reflect on the struggles and accomplishments of the past, to set goals for developing the potential and opportunities for the future, and to celebrate the united efforts for peace, justice, equality and development of women.

First celebrated in 1909, International Women’s Day is an occasion marked by women’s groups around the world. At CiTR, this date is brimming with amazing content by radio hosts and members of the station. It all begins at midnight on Thursday. See here for a sneak peek at the schedule.
