Sports Coverage – Help Wanted!

Calling all sports fanatics, the CiTR Sports department needs you! All kinds of opportunities are available for volunteers.

Help needed for:

- live broadcast of games (including set-up and play-by-play)

- in studio board operation during games

- halftime reports

- sideline coverage

- contributions to Thunderbird Eye (Thursdays 3:30-4:00p.m.)

Thunderbird Eye airs weekly, now on Thursday from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. The show features reviews, interviews with UBC athletes, previews of upcoming games, and all things UBC Sports! For all who are interested, it is a great opportunity to sit-in and learn radio while talking about sports. If time is an issue, there is the option of pre-taping content for upcoming shows.
