Red Jam Slam Live on CiTR

On Saturday August 21st CiTR will be broadcasting the Red Jam Slam live from the W2 Storyeum. Red Jam Slam is a day of panel discussion and live music performances organized by Vancouver community radio stations. CiTR will be broadcasting both panel discussions live.

12pm to 2pm – Truth and Reconciliation
Featuring Chief Bobby Joseph and Samaya Jardey from the Indian Residential School Survivors Society, Commissioner Maria Wilson of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and David Patterson, a lawyer for the residential school agreement.

2:30pm to 5:00pm – First Nations Broadcasters In Canada
Featuring Janet Rogers (Native Waves), Larry Portanlance (CIVL), Bill Lightbrown (CO-OP Radio), CJ Rice (CKJI) and Joseph Lavalley (CJSF) and facilitated by Gunargie O’Sullivan.
