CiTR, CJSF and Co-op Radio present Amy Goodman
Award-winning journalist Amy Goodman, host of the daily, grassroots, global, radio/TV news hour Democracy Now!, is on a national speaking tour to mark DN!’s 13th anniversary and launch her new book, Breaking the Sound Barrier.
Come see Amy speak, grab a copy of her new book, and support your local community and campus radio stations all at the same time!! This event is a fundraiser – all proceeds go to support the broadcasting operations of Co-op 102.7FM, CiTR 101.9FM, and CJSF 90.1FM. Democracy Now! can be heard on these three Vancouver campus/community stations.
Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Tickets are available at Spartacus Books, Co-op Books, Sophia Books, Zulu Records, and Red Cat Records.
Join us Wednesday, November 25 at the Vancouver Public Library in the Alice MacKay Room, 350 West Georgia St. Event is at 7 pm, Doors at 6:30.
