SUBMISSION ARE NOW CLOSED

CiTR is back at it again, looking for the best bands Vancouver has to offer for the 33rd annual SHiNDiG! If you’ve ever wanted to enter an epic battle of the bands, this is your chance. We’re looking for musicians and bands of all shapes, sizes, and genres. We will consider literally every genre, we’re not kidding. Past participants of this fab event include Japandroids, 3 Inches of Blood, The Pack A.D., Mystery Machine, and The Organ. Last year’s winner was Late Spring, who went on to play both Music Waste and Sled Island this year!

Winners of SHiNDiG receive studio time, mastered tracks, and a feature in Discorder Magazine among other sweet stuff like merchandise production and showcase opportunities. You also get to join the honoured ranks of SHiNDiG champions forevermore!

Please send the following information to Andy Resto at shindig.submissions@gmail.com if you wanna compete in SHiNDiG 2016!

• A demo of original material containing a minimum of three songs (any format is acceptable: Soundcloud, Bandcamp, mp3 etc.).
• Contact information including e-mail and phone number

Bio, photos or other information are not required but we will look at them if you send them in.

Feel free to drop off submissions in person at the CiTR Radio Station.

The deadline for submissions is September 16 2016

Questions? Maybe we already answered them here.
