Radio Free Stein and CiTR are proud to present: He Said It and White Wines, two plays by Gertrude Stein. The plays will be performed on June 4th and 5th at The Cultch.

“He Said It is a distressed comedy about two women who recreate a man’s monologue. White Wines is about a drunken dinner party and its aftermath” (x). Featuring music by Dorothy Chang and David Chokroun, “Stein’s words set off sparks when they collide with music and bodies on the stage” (x).

The two plays were produced by Adam Frank, an Associate Professor in UBC’s department of English. He is also the Director of the Science and Technology Studies Graduate Program. He Said It and White Wines were directed by James Fagan Tait.
