JUNE 23-27 The 11TH annual Signal + Noise Media Art Festival presents a collision of revolutionary Armenian Kino Cinema, remixes of ex-Yugoslav and CBC Television Broadcast ID Music, travelogues from an arctic sea voyage, and science fictional rediscovery of diminishing islands.
Head Down to the Vivo Media Arts Center at 1965 Main Street for four days of contemporary media and sound art, projections, and performance art.
Don’t miss the offsite opening reception at the Western Front (303 E. 8th Ave) featuring Ben Rivers’ Slow Action or the screening of The Time Dilation Machine by Hank Bull at the Pacific Cinematheque (1131 Howe St.) June 27 at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $10 for each show. Tickets sold at the door only 30min in advance. No one will be turned away for lack of funds!
